Rector of St Andrew By The Wardrobe & Archdeacon of London

Father Luke Miller has been Priest in Charge and latterly Rector of S Andrew by the Wardrobe since August 2016. He took up his post as Archdeacon of London (serving just under 100 parishes in The Cities of London and Westminster) in January 2016. At that time he was also appointed Chair of the London Diocesan Board for Schools, which has 156 schools educating over 60,000 children each day in the diocese of London.

He was previously Archdeacon of Hampstead (Enfield, Haringey, Barnet and Camden). As Vicar of S Mary’s Tottenham (1994 – 2010) he led a period of growth in the congregation which resulted in the planting of a new church. Fr Luke chairs the Faith Sector Panel of the London Resilience Forum,  is London Area Chaplain to the Sea Cadets, and serves on the Councils of Haileybury and St Stephen’s House, an Anglican Seminary in Oxford which is also a Permanent Private Hall of the University. He is a member of the General Synod. His wife Jacqui is a Deacon who works as a primary school teacher in Tottenham, and is also a governor of two LDBS schools. They have three sons.

Curate at St Andrew by the Wardrobe

Jonathan Osborne is the Senior Chaplain to the Metropolitan Police Service.

Jonathan worked in the financial industry before being ordained at St Albans Abbey. He has previously worked in a parish in Rickmansworth, then as an Assistant Chaplain, Chaplain and then as Head of Chaplaincy Services at West Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust, Ealing Hospital NHS Trust and Meadow House Hospice.

As well as being the MPS Senior Chaplain, Jonathan is a Deputy Priest in Ordinary to Her Majesty the Queen and he is a Prebendary at St Paul’s Cathedral, a Priest Vicar at Westminster Abbey and an Honorary Minor Canon at Southwark Cathedral. He is an adviser on policing issues to the Bishops of London, Southwark and Chelmsford.
